　　Hole type and parameters

　　The cross-sectional shapes of the five types of columns are basically the same, but with different thicknesses. There are two rows of fan-shaped holes on the front of the column, which are used for hanging crossbeams. There are a total of four rows of circular holes on the two sides of the column, of which two rows are rod holes. However, although there is no explicit regulation on the hole type of columns in the industry, diamond shaped holes can be used in conjunction with reinforced column clamps to avoid shelf shaking, making them more stable and becoming the mainstream column hole type.

　　Material of columns

　　Heavy duty shelves have a large load-bearing capacity, and even each layer can bear more than 5 tons. Generally, Q235B steel is used, which is rolled into shape with large coils of steel and is suitable for warehouses operating at room temperature. If the warehouse is operating in a low-temperature cold storage or other conditions, material replacement or thickening of steel plates will be considered to ensure the shelf's service life and safety.
