Principles and key points of storage shelf design

　　1. When designing the shelf structure, the use requirements, equipment conditions, load properties, material supply and installation conditions should be comprehensively considered, and the structural form, structural measures and production materials should be reasonably selected to achieve advanced technology, economic and reasonable, safe and applicable, and ensure quality.

　　2. The dimensional tolerance, deformation and clearance of the shelf should meet the relevant standards.

　　3. There are strict design procedures, whether in the durability limit state or in the larger load limit state design shelf structure, must meet the relevant standards, there must be a calculation book. For major projects, finite element calculation must be carried out to compound the strength, stiffness and stability of the shelf, and comprehensively assess the safety under the action of earthquakes. For standard shelves that are reused, there should be a general calculation sheet.

　　4. The data used in the calculation must be based on evidence or obtained by experiments. The shelf structure is often difficult to make an accurate analysis in theory, and the parameters required in the design must be determined by the corresponding test, and the bearing capacity of the shelf structure or a component can also be determined directly through the test. The test shall be reported, and the test equipment shall be calibrated and inspected by qualified metrological departments recognized by the State.

　　5. Beam type shelves, both ends of each beam must be equipped with a locking device, or provide screws and nuts to tighten, so that the beam can be stably fixed on the column, to prevent upward external force and detachment. To ensure that the beam is engaged with its locking device (or screw and nut), the normal operation of the beam lock or the fastening of the screw and nut should be checked regularly during use, and the damaged device should be replaced in time.
