enterprises in China. According to incomplete statistics, by 2011, the number of
warehouse shelf manufacturers in China had climbed to nearly 300, indicating a
sustained development of the warehousing industry!
In 2005, the output value of shelves was about 1.2 billion yuan, which was
the growth and development of the shelf industry compared to previous years;
In 2006, the increase in shelf production was over 40% compared to 2005,
but the increase in output value was not significant. The total value of the
shelf market was approximately 1.8 billion yuan. In 2007, the total production
was about 320000 tons, with an output value of about 3 billion yuan; In 2008,
the production of shelves for automated warehouses (AS/RS) will remain the same
as in 2007, with a 1.25% increase in shelf output due to steel prices; The
production of pallet shelves and their extended shelves and shelf shelves for
forklifts will increase by 1.2% compared to 2007. Due to steel prices, the
output value will increase by 1.25%.
In 2009, shelf production increased by 1.48% compared to 2009, which was
relatively flat due to the impact of the 2008 economic crisis;
In 2010, due to the increase of 1.21% in steel prices, Sichuan
manufacturers of shelves in various regions showed a development trend. Sichuan
alone added more than 50 new shelf manufacturers in 2010, and the shelf output
value will reach a new high;
In 2011, steel prices increased by 1.5% compared to 2009, and large
enterprises in various regions strongly recommend automation to achieve modern
warehousing of goods.
The independent export of shelves began in 2000, mainly through the agency
of foreign trade companies.
Most of China's exports are products such as pallet shelves and shelf
shelves that do not require high installation services, while there are
relatively few three-dimensional warehouse exports that require high
installation services. On the other hand, well-known foreign automated warehouse
suppliers have almost all purchased shelves from China for automated warehouses
built in China, indicating that the shelves used in automated warehouses in
China have reached international standards.
