Precautions for installing shelves

　　1. When installing shelves, the deformation caused by non weight distribution of goods, the lateral impact force caused by the action of stacker or forklift and the seismic intensity shall be considered.

　　2. Racks shall be installed between goods, and a safe distance shall be reserved between goods and racks, as well as between goods and fire pipes, and a fire sprinkler space shall be reserved;

　　3. Select high-quality steel, carry out surface rust prevention and decoration treatment, and try to reduce the project cost on the premise of ensuring the shelf performance.

　　4. When installing the shelf structure, factors such as use requirements, equipment conditions, load characteristics, material supply and installation conditions shall be comprehensively considered, and the structural form, structural measures and manufacturing materials shall be reasonably selected to achieve advanced technology, reasonable economy, safe application and quality assurance.

　　5. The dimensional tolerance, deformation and clearance of shelf shall comply with relevant standards.

　　6. There are strict installation procedures. Whether the rack structure is installed in the durability limit state or the maximum load limit state, it shall comply with relevant standards and provide calculation sheets. For major projects, it is necessary to conduct finite element calculation, comprehensively consider the strength, stiffness and stability of the shelf, and comprehensively evaluate the safety under earthquake. For standard reusable shelves, there should be a general calculation table.

　　7. The data used in the calculations must be based on or obtained experimentally. It is difficult to analyze the shelf structure accurately in theory. The parameters required for installation must be determined through corresponding tests, and the bearing capacity of the shelf structure or a component can also be directly determined through tests. The test shall be reported, and the test equipment shall be calibrated and inspected by the qualified measuring department recognized by the state.

　　8. When installing the cross beam rack, pay attention to the locking devices at both ends of each cross beam, or provide screws and nuts for fastening, so that the cross beam can be stably fixed on the column to prevent it from being separated due to the upward force. In order to ensure the engagement of the beam and its locking device (or screws and nuts), the normal operation of the beam lock or the fastening of the screws and nuts should be checked regularly during use, and the damaged device should be replaced in time.
